Major Design Patent Infringement Victory
In April, we had a major success for a client. I am thrilled to announce it here now.
Over the years, I’ve drafted, prosecuted, and granted utility patents, design patents, and trademarks for The Comfy. Recently, a jury awarded them $18 million for infringement of their IP portfolio. I’m just one part of this victory; The Comfy deserves the lion’s share of the credit for inventing the IP, building the portfolio, and persevering through the fight. The litigation team did an outstanding job throughout this long case. Still, I’m incredibly proud and excited to have laid the groundwork that helped lead to this win.
