Trademark Center Filing Problems

At the start of this year, the Trademark Office began requiring that all new applications be filed with Trademark Center.  Trademark Center replaced mostly trustworthy TEAS filing system that has been in place for many years.  TEAS is still the method we can use to respond to office actions and make other submissions, but for new trademark application filings, Trademark Center is the only game in town.

What is the experience like working with Trademark Center?  Well, not without frustration.  Below is a video my paralegal created as we was trying to prepare a filing.  Near the end of the application process, you have to sign the application.  This can be done by signing the application directly or by sending the application out to the client for signature, which is what law firms typically do.  My paralegal was attempting to select the signature method, but every time he moved his cursor over the drop-down menu, Trademark Center quickly scrolled down to some unknown stopping point.  He would scroll back up and place the cursor back over the menu, and….  same thing.
